Stacks of Books vs. a Search-Engine Culture

Interesting post over at think:lab looking at what’s best – a stack of books from a traditional library, or a search engine indexing them. For me it’s a no-brainer, especially as it leads to promiscuity between subject areas, but the ideas of future-proofing and reliability explored in the post are interesting.
