Mozilla Web Literacies v0.9 (#mozweblit)

The whole Web Literacies white paper I’ve been working on isn’t completely finished, but the web skills / competencies / literacies grid is certainly usable for playtesting at the Mozilla Festival.

    Hi Doug,

    wow, this has come on quite a bit since all those sticky notes ;-)

    Few things which I find interesting here, and the following is in no way a criticism, just my usual brain dumps….

    You have Remixing as an intermediate skill in the ‘Exploring’ category. Whilst there certainly is some element of exploring involved, I think would be more suited to the ‘Creating’ category.

    In the ‘Creating’ category, was a conscious decision made to place the technical skills above the understanding (in the basics)? Visually that hierarchy exists, but I’m not sure it’s meant to be like that, nor should it be? Also, some of the intermediate skills in creating are probably ‘advanced’, and probably not comparable to the intermediate skills in other categories.

    Anyway, enjoying seeing this progress through your blogging so keep it up!
