My resumé as a London Underground map.

I’ve seen people use a tube map metaphor for their resumé (e.g. here and here) and always wanted to have a go. Here’s my first effort – what do you think? :-)

I created it using Keynote 09. Feel free to download the file and create your own! :-p

As something of a map addict I think it is great. However, the purest form of the Beck underground map has all lines as vertical, horizontal or occasionally 45 degrees. The original inspiration coming from circuit diagrams.

I’ll see what I can do..

I’ve thought about doing an infographic CV a few times, as it could really help to show interactions, but suspect it would not be well received by prospective employers.

So is yours mainly for decorative purposes, or has it actually helped you land work?

Oh, only for practice (so far!)
