Introduction

What I'm about to say in three bullet points:

• Digital Literacies are plural and highly context-dependent. It's worth co-creating a definition using the 8 'essential elements' model I came up with in my thesis.
• Mozilla is a global non-profit that wants to teach the world the web. We've got a Web Literacy Standard and Webmaker tools to help you get better and reading, writing and participating online
• Open Badges, or more accurately the Mozilla Open Badges Infrastructure (OBI) is a way that allows anyone to credential attendance, achievements and affiliation in a trusted, web-native way.
