Good work Hobo :P

A nice overview of #pelc13. It was definitely much quieter this year than it has been over the last few years. A shame really as it's nice and local for me (for a change).

As per usual the keynotes were a particular highlight.

Open Badge discussions were the interesting for me. Oh, and your animated gifs. Retro tech indeed.

See you at ALT...probably...

Literally yes the train finishes there after the stations for all those football clubs that you remember from childhood. But there is an airport which I feel has a different dynamic: its one stop to a major hub (Amsterdam used to be my favourite and it may be the time of year but Heathrow was fine), so I feel sorry for Plymouth as its lost theirs it was clearly important enough to Cardiff for the Council to buy their one. Figuratively, I reckon that like my relatives only come once to Aberdeen the end of the line for Plymouth and Pelecon is probably nigh most people don't want to go back to the same place again and again (unless you have kids and it makes holidays easier). Alternatively they could host it some other north east conference hub, at the end of some line .... Sunderland ?

Lots of empty chairs but that's a positive when we are out dining, less fights. As for next year try Aberdeen, it is at the end of the line too.
