My Ed.D. thesis concept map on ‘Digital Literacy’
This concept map took me ages. So long, in fact that I’ve no big long words or energy left to pad out this blog post longer than it needs to. Suffice it to say that the references on it can be found on my wiki. 🙂
I created the concept map using XMind, which is Open Source, cross-platform software that allows you to upload and collaborate. I found it very easy to use and would recommend it as a perfect blend of online and offline functionality! 😀

I had a bit of difficulty seeing it – on here in Firefox, Flock & Chrome, the “About” box overlay it, IE keeps crashing (that’s not you – I’m blaming the lastest update that M/S sent for IE8 beta – not that I use it much).
However, opening it up in a new frame on its own was great … and something that I’ll need to take time to take in & think about.

Nice one Doug – can see hwy it took ages – this looks like a bit of a seminal work! I’ll try to blog about it when I have a couple of seconds!!!
Thanks Leon – did take me a while! Hope it’s going to be useful for
structuring my thesis. I’ll see after Skype meeting with supervisor
tomorrow. :-)
Scrap what i just said about overlapping – that looks better … and still just as full of interesting stuff to explore!

It is a draft however – a thesis about concept maps. You might be most
