This is exactly where my head is at in relation to my school. These are the conversations I am trying to initiate as we try to prepare a 3 yr strategic plan. I am so thankful for David Warlick's initiative in setting up the AUP wiki. It's a real starting point for any school trying to initiate responsible use policies. Thanks for this post also and the useful links you hacve provided.

Thanks so much for gathering such a great list of resources and ideas about improving and updating AUPs. This is so timely as we add portable devices and increase collaborations in our schools.

Thanks Doug!

I've woken up this morning and I can feel a crusade coming on at school, partly inspired by this and the 'porn in school' post, partly by events / circumstances at school. Thanks Doug!
