We were in ToysRUs at Lakeside and I saw a fixed display model of the Asus.  I mentioned to my wife that this sort of this was the future and might enable each student to be given a laptop equivalent in class.
Then she pointed out the keyboard - there was one key left on the entire thing - the rest pulled out. &#058;&#040;
The current Asus looks good - but the next version(s) will surely be the really useful ones - extended battery life, better screens and hopeful other goodies. </description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sounds like you got a better display model than the one we saw today.
